The site locally known as Piyral ji Mari, is located approximately six kilometers south east of Tando Rahim, Khan village, and two kilometers east of Pir Ghazi Shah shrine in Dadu district of Sindh. A perennial spring which issues in the Bhit Range, runs close to the ancient remains while a wide expanse of alluvial plain extends from the foothills of the Bhit Range eastward to the rocky outcrop which lie just west of Manchar Lake.
The surface collection from mound consisting bull figurines, miniature cart frames, steatite, carnelian, agate stones, copper ring, copper objects, copper leaf shaped arrowhead, chisel, chert, flake and a silver ring fragment etc. The surface collection from mound revealed that ruins are similar to that of the site of Amrian period.
