Directorate General of Antiquities and Archaeology has initiated a "We connect Makli" project with ICCROM, ALIPH Foundation, and EHRF. Considering recent damage in floods, we are establishing an Emergency Response cell on Makli with the assistance of PDMA Sindh.

Functions &

Preservation, Conservation and Documentation of Archaeological Sites And Monuments.
Maintenance of Archaeological Museums.
Survey And Enlistment of Archaeological Sites, Monuments & Heritage Buildings.
Excavation of Archaeological Sites.
Arranging Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Trainings & Printing of Archaeological Materials for the awareness of Public regarding Heritage.
